The International Earth Science Olympiad (IESO) is one of the premier competitions for high school students, organized annually by the International Geoscience Education Organization. The IESO holds a prominent position among the International Science Olympiads, with an influence comparable to disciplines such as mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, informatics, and astronomy. The competition primarily assesses students' knowledge and skills in fields such as geology, geophysics, seismology, meteorology, oceanography, astronomy, and environmental science.

To help students achieve excellent results in the International Earth Science Olympiad (IESO), we offer a specially designed, systematic training program. The course is divided into four terms: Term 4 and Term 1 focus on foundational training, Term 2 involves national selection, with top performers advancing to the national team training camp, and Term 3 sees students representing New Zealand in the global competition.
